Dr. Velaswamy Ravendran is founder and head of the Coimbatore Bone & Joint Foundation, a superspeciality, leading-edge hospital located in the heart of Coimbatore city. As an established Senior Orthopaedic Surgeon and Superspecialist in Knee Surgery, Dr. Ravendran has over two decades of operative experience, with 11 of them in UK, New Zealand and Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. Dr. Velaswamy Ravendran has a keen interest in total joint replacement, arthroscopy and sports injuries. He is actively involved in several medical associations pertaining to his areas of specialisation, and currently holds the post of Vice President of the National Association of Interlocking Surgeons.
